What You Will Be Doing:

In this role, you will work closely with the QA Team and assist with testing our flagship product and its reporting features. You will identify weak spots in the code base and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. You will perform hands-on QA testing including data integrity for new features and regression testing while working with developers to resolve all identified defects, risks and issues.

Under the guidance of an experienced QA Analyst, you will learn and understand our products at a detailed level and execute the primary QA responsibilities that include:

• QA and test web-applications following Agile methodology guidelines

• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan

• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables

• Develop, document & maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts

• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results

• Release planning and QA scheduling

• Bug logging and bug management

• Have a passion for testing and a problem solving mindset

• Are excited to learn something new and be an important part of a cross functional team

• Willing to initiate changes and introduce new ideas 

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Qualifications:

• Working towards a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering or any other technical field

• Familiarity with the software development process

• Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA, TFS , Testlink etc is a plus
