Role Summary

The Intern: Finance will participate in a structured, educational internship experience. This internship is designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to financial operations in a professional setting, aligned with their academic learning goals.

Learning Goals

Gain practical experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Learn how to use financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, JIRA or ERP systems).
Understand internal financial controls and compliance processes.
Participate in team meetings and observe real-world financial decision-making.
Develop analytical and problem-solving skills through guided projects.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Finance team, the Intern may:

Assist with data entry and reconciliation of financial records.
Assist with maintenance and organization of Finance email inbox.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Conduct research on financial trends and best practices.
Help with organizing and maintaining financial documentation.
Participate in special projects aligned with their academic background.

Experience Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial concepts.
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team environment.
