We are a Digital Technical Analysis team under Digital Engineering. Digital Engineering is a branch of the broader Digital organization. We support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of both new and existing technologies. We are a team comprised of talented individuals who focus on creating solutions to complex member and user needs. We thrive at analyzing solutions, tailoring experiences, are passionate about technology, and provide critical direction for foundational work across the enterprise.

We are looking for candidates with strong problem-solving and analysis skills that can be leveraged in a collaborative, solution-driven, team-oriented environment. A strong understanding of foundational software development principles and engineering methodologies will also enable a quick and efficient onboarding period when assigned to shadow other analysts or help the team with various tasks.

The project to be supported involves new features and enhancements to our Omnichannel platform involving web applications, mobile applications, chatbots, and an automated phone response system used by our members and staff to view account information, facilitate transactions, and manage accounts features.  The objective is to provide best in class financial solutions for our members and staff. 

The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2026 and ending in August 2026. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later.

  • Basic skills in analyzing, researching, and organizing problems or work processes to develop technical solutions
  • Demonstrated a commitment to excellence, a dedication to producing quality work results, and an ability to learn and apply new skills

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Location: HQ2 – 1007, Electric Ave, Vienna, VA 22180.

  • Provide support to the analyst team with research, analysis and documentation work
  • Learn and become proficient using the tools needed to do the assigned tasks
  • Identify business requirements (e.g. needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output)
  • Learn new technologies and business flows as needed and adapt to the new environment quickly
  • Shadow senior analysts to understand their nature of work and help them with their feature work
  • Perform other duties as assigned
