About the Role:

Baird’s Human Resources team is dedicated to attracting, developing, engaging and retaining the best global talent to meet the firm’s mission of being a best place to work. Interns are treated as valuable team members and have the ability to directly contribute to the success of the team while learning from experienced professionals.

Our Talent Acquisition team is responsible for attracting, sourcing and hiring top talent across the firm and promoting Baird as a best place to work. We have two internship openings, one with our Campus Recruiting and Employer Brand teams and one with our Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) team.

This is a hybrid internship, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office and Monday and Friday remote. The interns must be able to work full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week, and work part time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week. We are seeking local students who can start in May 2026.

The Impact You’ll Make – Campus Recruiting and Employer Brand Teams:

  • Support summer intern program logistics and execution

  • Assist with the campus recruiting process including career fair registration, posting internships, assisting with intern resume and on demand video interview review and candidate disposition

  • Create branded materials, communications and social media posts for Baird’s intern program and recruitment campaigns

  • Provide recommendations and conduct competitive research on how other brands in our space are leveraging social media, web and email marketing to present their company as a best place to work

  • Assist in content creation and execution of the talent acquisition social media strategy to successfully promote Baird’s opportunities and culture across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X

  • Support Baird’s associate social media advocacy program, including being a resource for brand advocates

  • Assist with building marketing campaigns with Beamery, a candidate relationship management system (CRM)

  • Support in reputation management through co-managing firm Glassdoor/Indeed profiles

  • Support various projects for the Campus Recruiting team, Employer Brand team and Talent Acquisition team

The Impact You’ll Make – Talent Acquisition Coordinator Team:

  • Perform high-volume interview scheduling for phone, video and onsite interviews; scheduling can be complex with occasional travel arrangements needed

  • Manage candidate and client correspondence regarding interviews

  • Draft and proof offer letters ensuring consistency and accuracy

  • Monitor the talent acquisition email inbox and phone messages to ensure timely responses to inquiries

  • Update and manage candidate information and interview status in Workday, our applicant tracking system

  • Deliver unparalleled customer service to hiring managers and interview teams, while ensuring a positive candidate experience with Baird

  • Support process improvements and projects for Talent Acquisition and across HR

  • Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities, including administrative duties and special projects as needed

What You’ll Bring to Baird:

  • Pursuing a degree in human resources, marketing, communications or related degree

  • Anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or later

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect clearly and professionally with clients and candidates

  • Organizational excellence, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure high-quality and on-time delivery

  • High level of motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking, with a strong commitment to learning and contributing effectively

  • Interest in developing a career in talent acquisition or marketing

  • Interest and experience in social media including content creation and editing with tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite and Sprout Social, a social media management platform

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Prior experience in an office setting is preferred
