We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented intern to join our IT team with a focus on ITBusiness Process Management. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in evaluating and optimizing global Oracle processes, as well as contributing to documentation development and retention strategies.

This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams across IT and Business Operations, offering exposure to enterprise-level systems and process improvement initiatives.

As part of this internship, you will support our Global Oracle Process Optimization efforts and receive training and certification in our Sonoco Foundational Project Management course (20 hours).

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and Documentation Needs Analysis: Collaborate with Cross-functional teams including ITand Business Operations to assess current Oracle user and configuration processes and documentation, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement and consolidation.

  • Development, Testing, and Implementation: Collaborate on the creation of improvement plans, including test strategies and implementation timelines.

  • Standardization Support: Assist in the standardization of Oracle processes and documentation to support deployment, training, and testing initiatives.

  • Change Management and Communication: Maintainaccurate records of project changes and progress, ensuring documentation is current and accessible.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-driven approach.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
