Position Overview:

Insulet's operation team is focused on leading manufacturing operations in a new state-of-the-art high-speed automated manufacturing facility in Acton, MA. This candidate will work closely with all supporting manufacturing departments to support root cause analysis, process improvement and production execution in the manufacturing facility. The candidate will work regularly with cross-functional teams to solve urgent business-related problems. Typical tasks include leading process efficiency improvement projects, data analysis, and establishing and improving operation processes. An ideal candidate has experience and interest in manufacturing and plant operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor data collection systems and trend data.

• Analyze and improve current business process to improve business efficiency.

• Interact with cross functional teams to lead long term process improvement and implementation projects.

• Analyze large amounts of data to present clear, actionable information to the team.

• Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Analytics or similar field.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:   

• Data Analysis: Spotfire, Excel

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Ability to effectively communicate with cross functional teams.

• Planning/Prioritizing

• Decision making and problem solving

• Written and verbal communication

Physical Requirements (if applicable):           

• Ability to lift up to 20lbs occasionally, 5-20lbs frequently.

• Required to reach above shoulder frequently and below waist occasionally.

• Required to push and pull.

• Required to stand and sit for extended periods of time.

• Must possess awareness of their surroundings and the ability to safely navigate an active production floor.

Additional Information:

Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $25.00 - $34.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
