Our Responsible AI team is dedicated to building a technology center to provide technical support for all ByteDance products from the perspective of making AI models responsible, trustworthy, and aligned with human values. Responsibilities: - Research and development of technologies on responsible AI, particularly with a focus on large language models, including but not limited to safety, reasoning, alignment, privacy, robustness; - Perform research on responsible AI and collaborate with experts from both academia and industry; - Design and perform theoretical analysis of AI algorithms. Minimum Qualifications: - Researchers or PhD students in Machine Learning and other related fields; - In-depth understanding of machine learning with rich experiences in relevant fields; - Background in large language models, especially post-training or alignment, is preferable; - Familiar with at least one popular machine learning framework (e.g., Pytorch, TensorFlow, JAX etc); - Good at communications and prioritizing teamwork; - Solid mathematical background and coding ability; - Publication at the top conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, FAccT, AAAI, CVPR, ICCV, ACL, WWW etc) is a big plus; By submitting an application for this role, you accept and agree to our global applicant privacy policy, which may be accessed here: https://jobs.bytedance.com/en/legal/privacy
