Job Description

From day 1, you will be a key member of the engineering team, contributing to the development of new process innovations. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging automation projects and contribute to realizing our "Factory of the Future" vision.

As part of the Engineering team at P&G, you will play a vital role in building the digital infrastructure for production equipment, driving Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 emerging technologies, digital manufacturing and future automation trends. You will also be involved in the implementation of online and offline quality inspection systems to ensure superior innovation and product quality for our consumers.

As an Intern in the Engineering team, you will:

  • Collaborate with experienced engineers on various projects;

  • Gain hands-on experience in process and/or machine control;

  • Work with network, information systems, sensors, PLCs, HMIs and industrial automation systems.

We believe that the following skills will contribute to your success as an intern:

  • Experience or knowledge in process and/or machine control;

  • Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems;

  • Skills in robotics, machine vision and networking are a plus;

  • Strong technical background and problem-solving abilities;

  • Passion for integrating technologies and contributing to the future of Digital Manufacturing through Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0, data and analytics.

As an Intern at P&G, you will receive a monthly reimbursement of €1,000 gross.

Job Qualifications

  • Master degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, automation engineering, computer science engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines related to automation, control systems and digitalization;

  • Fluent in English and Italian;

  • Strong communication skills, leadership and analytical capabilities;

  • Critical thinking, operational discipline and ability to work within diverse organizations and teams;

  • Ability to learn, initiative and flexibility.
