$3,000.00 Signing Bonus

Monday-Friday day shift

Our priority is to make sure we hire mechanics that care about the safety of our drivers and the service provided to the community. As an Apprentice Mechanicwith us the minimum responsibilities are:

• Perform repairs and inspections, safety checks, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake andair systemson diesel vehicles.

• Utilize vehicle computerelectrical systemsto interpret failure modes to identify and adjust Engine and Vehicle Control modules

• Respond to road calls for emergency repairs

• Reviewing, completing or assigning repairs identified on driverVehicle InspectionReports.

• Completing required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software programs.

• Test driving trucks after services and repairs

• Having professional and courteous interactions with our drivers when needed.

• Adhere to all SAFETY standards laid out by the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of environment as well as Waste Connections of Canada.

• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

What We Need From You:

• Apprentice working towards 310T Mechanic license

• Proficiency in a variety ofdiesel vehicle diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance and repair.

• Basic tool set

• Valid Class DZ Or AZ is an asset

• Hydraulic experience is a plus

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
