As a Supply Chain Strategy Analyst, you will join our Supply Chain Strategy team to drive the advancement of GE Vernova’s Next Generation Supply Chain (NGSC) framework—a data-driven methodology for shaping long-term strategic plans across our diverse energy solutions portfolio. The NGSC framework leverages three core components: Voice of the Customer (VoC), Make vs. Buy (MvB) Assessment, and Strategic Site Assessment (SSA). Through rigorous analysis and cross-functional collaboration, you will contribute to the development of high-impact roadmaps that strengthen the resiliency and competitiveness of our global supply chain network.
Key highlights of this project include:

- Drive the supply chain vision and strategy by conducting deep-dive analytics and delivering targeted, impactful reporting.
2. Make vs. Buy (MvB) Assessment Optimization
- Assist in refining data-driven methodologies for evaluating outsourcing versus internal production decisions, leveraging quantitative analysis to inform strategic choices.
- Contribute to cost optimization studies and competency assessments, enhancing supply chain flexibility and strengthening risk management practices.
- Support the deployment and adoption of standardized Make vs. Buy assessment tools across business units to promote consistency and best practices.
3. Strategic Site Assessment (SSA) Process Improvement
- Develop analytical frameworks and modeling tools to optimize the manufacturing network, incorporating strategic site selection, demand forecasting, logistics resiliency, and risk evaluation.
- Support enhancements to the SSA process to enable more informed decision-making and effective risk mitigation across the supply chain.
- Assess operational efficiency and identify productivity improvement opportunities at existing facilities, providing actionable recommendations to strengthen the SSA process.
