Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Intern to join our technology and infrastructure team for the summer. The intern will gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring, and automation practices. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about cloud technologies, software deployment, and building scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Support the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
• Work on containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure smooth code deployments.
• Participate in system monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization.
• Document infrastructure processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
