About the Program: 

Join Wing's 12-week paid summer internship! This is a hybrid, in-person program based in Palo Alto, CA, with start dates in May or June. Eligible candidates must be a current student enrolled in a degree program and intend to return to the program after the completion of the summer internship. 

About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Aerodynamics Engineering Intern to join our Aircraft Development Team based in Palo Alto, CA

We're an interdisciplinary team that is the driving force behind the design, prototyping, and optimization of our current and future aircraft. This internship is your chance to make a tangible impact on the next generation of drone delivery. As an Aerodynamics Engineering Intern, you'll take ownership of a project focused on the support and development of Wing’s next-generation delivery drones. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What You’ll Need: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, or related field, graduating between December 2026 and August 2027
  • Experience with Matlab, Python, or a similar programming language
  • Strong examples of collaborative, hands-on engineering experience from, e.g., prior work experience, university programs, internships, or student organizations
  • Familiarity with aircraft design, aerodynamics, and flight dynamics
  • Familiarity with propulsion and aerodynamic modeling 
  • Familiarity with using CAD software for design and prototyping 
  • Passion for aviation, drones, or related technologies

The US base salary range for this internship position is the salary range below + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

$122,000$128,000 USD
