Our Strategic Sourcing Department looking for a curious, driven, and detail-oriented intern to help us build and implement a robust database system that supports our growing data needs. If you’re passionate about transforming raw data into meaningful insights and have hands-on experience with Tableau, this is your chance to make a real impact.

This position is located in our Cincinnati, OH office and will work on a hybrid schedule. Must be able to work part-time hours during the spring semester of 2026.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement a relational database tailored to business requirements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data needs and translate them into technical specs

  • Clean, structure, and migrate data from various sources into the new database

  • Assist in creation of dynamic Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends

  • Optimize queries and ensure data integrity, security, and scalability

  • Document processes and provide recommendations for future improvements

Job Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field

  • Experience with SQL and relational database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)

  • Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and storytelling

  • Familiarity with data cleaning and transformation techniques

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
