Lilly Bengaluru BI&A – Data Reporting & Visualization Intern (NE Hub)
Role Overview
Based in the Lilly Bengaluru Analytics team, this role partners with the NE Hub analytics and marketing teams to deliver high-quality reporting and visualization that drive customer experience and business impact. The intern will support Lilly’s self-service reporting strategy, enabling automation, scalable frameworks, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver accurate, timely data reporting and visualization as an individual contributor.
Build expertise on internal and external NE Hub datasets to enable data-driven decision-making.
Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, and root cause analysis.
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards (Power BI) to track KPIs: sales, growth, market share, inventory, engagement metrics, and promotional impact.
Provide descriptive analytics and visual insights to support planning, segmentation, and performance measurement.
Actively contribute to all project phases—kick-off, execution, insight generation, and presentation to stakeholders.
Consistently meet SLAs and respond to internal stakeholder queries.
Education
Degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
Pharma/healthcare industry experience preferred.
Experience
1–2 years in data management, BI/market intelligence, reporting, or descriptive analytics.
Proven ability to work with complex datasets and generate business insights.
Technical Skills
Advanced SQL (querying, debugging).
Data visualization (Power BI – dashboard design & development).
MS Excel (mandatory: lookups, pivots, power pivots, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint.
Coding: R/Python; VBA a plus.
Pharma database knowledge (Activity, Marketing, Sales) is an advantage.
Analytical Skills
Strong business analytics, data cleaning, and preparation.
Problem-solving, lateral thinking, and attention to detail.
