Market Risk Intern

CME Group is currently looking for a Market Risk Year-Round Intern

This candidate will assist the Commodities Risk Group on day-to-day activities in support of the Clearing House. Responsibilities include data analysis, report generation, testing and ad-hoc projects.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Tool Enhancement with Python programming
• Assist with daily/monthly back testing reporting
• Prepare daily, weekly and quarterly internal reports
• Support risk staff for margin analysis for energy and OTC products

Skills / Software Requirements:

• Basic understanding of Derivatives including Options, Futures products and Margin/Risk framework
• Knowledge in Stress Testing and Back-Testing
• MS Office, Oracle, SQL, Python (Highly preferred, building the User Interface)

Education:

• Currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or Computer Science

• Hybrid Schedule

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
