Location: Electrical & Instrumentation Design Office – Aix-les-Bains
Main Mission
The intern will contribute to the improvement and development of automation standards, the structuring of functional analysis, and the digitalization of technical information for IT and PLC systems. They will also assist in creating a simulation program in ABB AC800M for the test platform.
Your Responsibilities
Review and improve automation standards:
Analyze, update, and document existing automation standards to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Brands used: ABB AC800M-AC500, Siemens S7-400 / S7-1500, Rockwell RS Logics, Schneider Ecostruxure.
Create a functional analysis database:
Design and structure a centralized database to organize functional analyses for projects.
Enter technical information into ServIS (IT & PLC):
Collect, input, and validate technical data in the ServIS tool, in collaboration with IT and automation teams.
Develop an AC800 simulation program:
Build a simulation program on the AC800 platform to test and validate standard automated functionalities.
Internal and external coordination:
Internal: department manager, study coordinators, technicians, project managers, other design offices, ABB entities (local and OPC).
External: clients, suppliers, subcontractors.
Quality, Safety, Environment:
Apply QSE requirements and procedures.
Report actual and potential risks related to quality, safety, and environment to management.
Profile Required
Technical background: Bachelor’s degree (Bac +2/3) or Master’s degree (Bac +5) in automation, industrial IT, or process control.
Knowledge in programming and automation programming tools.
Proficiency in SFC / ST / Ladder languages.
Good level of English (reading, writing, speaking).
Behavioral skills: team orientation and collaboration, attention to detail and rigor
