You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.
 

Position Purpose: This intern will offer a fresh perspective on how we might innovate or mature our enterprise change management practices to accelerate adoption in a continuously changing workplace.

  • You will assist with projects focusing on the people side of process or technology change in the workplace.
  • You will spend time discussing changes with the project management team members, subject matter experts, and people being impacted by what’s changing to support engagement and adoption of changing tools, processes or behavior.
  • Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
  • Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
  • Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry
  • Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.

Pay range: $20-27/hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
