LSE Technical Undergraduate Intern: Engineering

SRNL's Advanced Engineering Division is seeking Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering students who are currently pursuing a undergraduate degree for multiple internship opportunities (10-week summer internship).

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS (or Equiv) + 1 or more yrs of university education
• Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
• Work safely with particular attention to quality. Comply with all policies and standards. 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

The selected candidates will work with engineers, scientists, researchers, technical specialists, and other professionals within Advanced Engineering at Savannah River National Laboratory with a focus on conducting hands-on automation, robotics, controls, instrumentation, and/or data acquisition system development. Candidates should be capable of developing, designing, fabricating, assembling, testing, evaluating, calibrating, and fielding systems, components, and tooling to meet unique technical challenges for end users. They are expected to deliver results in a safe, responsible, secure, timely, and cost-effective manner. Candidates need to understand and apply knowledge of standard engineering concepts, principles, techniques, and fundamentals to achieve innovative solutions.
