2026 Paris Off-Cycle Internship - Telecoms Team (Jan -June 2026) Region EMEA Location London Group Investment Banking Program type Off-cycle internship Level Analyst Job description Job description The Evercore Off-Cycle Intern Program in Paris is a 6-month program designed to provide a talented and committed individual with hands-on experience as an analyst within the Telecoms team (Communications & Digital Infrastructure). The team is seeking an ambitious, mature individual with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job. Primary ResponsibilitiesEvercore Off-Cycle Interns are highly motivated individuals and must demonstrate the ability and desire to learn and work hard. They will form an integral part of a deal team, and be responsible for a variety of tasks including:Conduct industry and company-specific researchContribute to the drafting of pitch materials, client presentations, and internal briefing notesAnalyse company financials, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statementsAssist in preparing and reviewing financial models to support valuations and transaction analysisTrack industry-specific news and market moves in the Telecom spaceOff-Cycle Interns typically work in cross-border teams across Paris and London, collaborating with colleagues of all seniority levels and interacting with Evercore’s global offices, and will need to demonstrate:A genuine interest in corporate finance and the broader investment banking landscapeAn interest in the telecom market and adjacent industriesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh motivation to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility in a demanding environmentSelf-starter mindset, demonstrating initiative, reliability, and adaptabilityExcellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple workstreams under tight deadlines Specific QualificationsUndergraduate degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering from a top-tier institution, with excellent academic resultsMust be able to secure an internship agreement (“convention de stage”) through a university or academic institution (third-party agreements are not accepted)Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A, or another relevant finance-related roleFluency in French and English is requiredAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong technical fundamentalsFamiliarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or other financial data providers is a plus Firm DescriptionEvercore is a premier independent investment banking advisory firm with 1,400 employees and a global presence in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
