2026 Guardian Summer Intern, Enterprise Sponsorship Marketing & External Communications
Our 2025 Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.
Internship Dates:
The internship program will run from Thursday, May 28, 2026 - Friday, August 7, 2026.

You are:
A rising senior (graduation date of May 2027) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions and thrive in a goal-oriented environment.

You have:
- A concentration in marketing, communications, or business
- A foundational understanding of marketing basics and building a marketing plan
- Interest in learning about external communications (PR, social media, events, thought leadership) and sports/sponsorship / partnership marketing
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong communications and writing skills
You will:
- Partner with marketing and communications leaders to develop and activate sponsorship and partnership plans and external communications campaigns
- Learn how to support executives for brand visibility and launch integrated thought leadership campaigns.
- Learn how to build multi-channel, integrated marketing plans from start to finish including partnering with consumer research and insights and key colleague groups in brand, creative, media, social, digital, measurement and more
- Learn about all facets of marketing and communications
- Develop and manage detailed project plans and monthly reports
- Monitor and report on media mentions
- Organize and manage events / activations
- Build presentations and present plans to leadership
- Support social team on sponsorship partnerships by monitoring talent social, keeping a pulse on competitive social presence and project manage some social development
- Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings
- Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business
- Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts and other information
- Be a self-starter – someone who enjoys “rolling up their sleeves and getting things done”, has high energy, strong work ethic, displays the ability to work independently, and is creative

Eligibility:
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
- You must be available for the full 10 weeks of the internship program.

Salary Range:
$20.00 - $35.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
