Program Overview:
Comcast’s Summer Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build lasting connections, and grow professionally in a dynamic and inclusive environment.This paid, 11-week immersive experience places interns at the heart of our business, working alongside talented professionals on meaningful projects that contribute to real outcomes. Organization & TeamOverview
Comcast's Corporate Communications team in Philadelphia, PA creates and executes communications strategies that support the company’s network and connectivity business.With a front seat to some of the latest in broadband, mobile, and entertainmentinnovation, this team plays a critical role in highlighting Comcastas a technologyleader.
As an intern on the Connectivity and Network Communications team, you’ll work across Corporate Communications and with the Technology, Product and Experience organization—aswell as other key business stakeholders—toidentify and elevate technology and innovation stories that showcasehow Comcast’s delivers the best connectivity experiences.

This internship will providean opportunity to learn hands-on about the critical role that Corporate Communications plays in supporting our organization in building technology and experiences that delight customers and power the future.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you will be immersed in understanding the rapidly evolving media landscape impacting our organization and developing new and interesting ways to differentiate our connectivity products in a competitive industry.
You’llexperience firsthand thebroad range of elements—press releases, media pitches, creative content—andexecutions—product launches, events, media campaigns—that comprise a robustexternal communication program, participating instrategy, development and implementation.

You will be working with the best and brightest minds in Comcast to develop creative ideas and storytelling opportunities around key products, including Xfinity Internet, Xfinity WiFi, Xfinity Mobile and the NOW product portfolio, that help drive awareness and impact.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Draft communications materials, including press releases, pitches, communications plans, fact sheets, blog posts, website copy, and more.
Provide media outreach support, including lists building, media monitoring and reporting.
Research and analyzekey themes and broader industry and media trendsto support PR initiatives and potential opportunities.
Brainstorm new campaign, content and pitch angles.
Support other Communications projects/ responsibilities as assigned.
Participate in cross-functional team meetings.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Possess strong research capabilities and the ability to conduct in-depth research independently.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $23.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
