Primary Function of Position

As a Supply Chain Risk & Analytics Intern at Intuitive, you will play a key role in supporting initiatives that drive operational excellence and supply chain resilience for a global leader in minimally invasive care. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects that help transform healthcare by ensuring continuity of supply for critical medical technologies. You will collaborate with diverse teams, leverage data analytics, and help shape innovative solutions that strengthen Intuitive’s supply chain and ultimately improve patient outcomes worldwide. Essential Job Duties

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support risk management and analytics projects
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities
• Contribute to the development of dashboards, reports, and presentations for business stakeholders
• Participate in mapping and documenting workflows and processes to support operational improvements
• Help coordinate project activities, track progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management abilities; able to organize tasks, manage timelines, and follow through independently
• Advanced analytical skills; comfortable working with data sets and drawing actionable insights
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships across functions
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn new concepts and tools

Required Education and Training

• Current enrollment in a Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, MIS, Analytics, or related degree-seeking program at the Bachelor’s level.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Foundational coursework or exposure to supply chain, operations, data analysis, or process mapping
• Experience with process documentation, SOP writing, or workflow mapping
• Familiarity with ERP or business systems (SAP, Agile PLM, Coupa, etc.)
• Experience with Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar documentation tools
• Exposure to SQL, Tableau, or basic programming concepts (helpful but not required)
