POSITION OVERVIEW

We are excited to announce the 2025 Routeware paid internship program! Routeware is looking for juniors and seniors currently enrolled in accredited bachelor’s/master’s degree programs in Business or Human Resources (or recent graduates). This exciting opportunity will give students real-world experience working for a leading SaaS company in the waste and recycling industry.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

        Become proficient with relevant internal tools and software

        Collaborate with senior and junior staff to learn processes and workflows

        Report creation, presentations, and analysis of industry trends or internal findings for assigned departments

        Participation in team, department, and company-wide meetings

        Provide support to the People Operations team

        Assist with Open Enrollment activities, including employee communications, benefits enrollment support, and troubleshooting issues

      Learn and support 401(k) administration processes, including employee questions and coordination with providers.

      Gain exposure to employee relations by shadowing the team, helping draft communications, and supporting case documentation.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

        Member of the 2025 or 2026 graduating class

        Ability to work up to 20/hrs a week

        Excellent oral and written communication skills

        Alignment with Routeware’s core values of Adaptability, Mission-driven, and Human-first

        Portfolio or Written Statement of relevant classes, projects, clubs, and/or previous professional experience
