UX Design Intern

We are currently looking for UX Design interns to join us in Boston, MA. You  will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and experience in your field, and cooperate with a broader international team both locally and globally.

The focus for Red Hat's Intern Program is a dual partnership between the Emerging Talent Team, and our intern managers. We can offer you professional development, social engagement and networking, performance and development, and meaningful work throughout your time at Red Hat. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with your mentor to work on complex design problems as part of a cross-functional UX team, working on both UI and UX. 

• Work with enterprise design, research, and web applications 

• Support enablement, process documentation and user research.

• Network with other talented interns in a workplace where you can be yourself and thrive

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English

• Working knowledge of UI design software (e.x. Figma, XD, Photoshop, Illustrator)

• Basic knowledge of and passion for usability, information architecture, web standards, and taxonomy

• Basic knowledge and willingness to use HTML, CSS, and digital graphic production

• Basic knowledge and willingness to use AI tools (e.x. Cursor, Gemini) to enhance user experience processes

• Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally

• Willingness to learn and proactivity work as a part of a wider team
