Our Approach
The Kollmorgen Internship Program provides accelerated training and professional development for college students pursuing careers in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration. As an HR Generalist Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting core HR functions and strategic initiatives that impact the employee experience and company culture.

Potential Projects & Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and orientation process improvements to enhance the new hire experience.
  • Assist with planning and executing Employee Resource Group (ERG) initiatives and events that promote inclusion and engagement.
  • Conduct a site-wide audit of associate-level job descriptions to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with current responsibilities and company branding.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to update documentation and support compliance efforts.
  • Participate in HR team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Gain exposure to HR systems, policies, and employee relations practices.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for organization and process improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
