Job Description
What you will do:
- Working under supervising professional engineers, you will support all Baird global offices by:
- Participating in field data collection
- Performing engineering analyses and design of coastal and marine structures
- Assisting with the preparation of project deliverables including technical reports, calculations, cost estimates, specifications and drawings
- Assisting with the construction administration tasks for projects currently being constructed

Qualifications
What you bring:
- Required:
- Junior, Senior, or Graduate student standing in an ABET accredited engineering program
- Specializing in water resources, coastal, civil, structural, geological or geotechnical engineering
- Preferred:
- Ability to continue working part-time hours into the summer of 2026
- Previous intern experience with an engineering consulting firm
- Working knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with or willingness to learn GIS software
- Experience with or willingness to learn programming with MATLAB and/or Python
