Come join the US Wellness Product Development Team and design the next on trend flavor!  This unique opportunity provides the chance to grow beyond by learning the intricate processes involved in the design and manufacture of the iconic Emergen-C powder.  The intern will be responsible for analyzing flavor trends, collaborating with consumer sciences, brand and our internal flavorist, to design a slate of flavors.

Role Responsibilities

• An extreme flair for innovation a creativity, especially around flavor and taste.
• Experience documenting findings in a laboratory notebook.
• Designs experiments and carries out scientific work with an awareness of technology and creates research plans to fit overall project objectives.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a graduate degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Chemical Engineering
• Laboratory skills required
• Exercises a wide degree of technical sophistication in accomplishing assigned objectives.

Location: Richmond, VA – requirement 5 days onsite

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Rate: $24.50/hour
