Eligibility Note: To qualify for a student (Co-op/Internship) opportunity, students must be enrolled in their academic studies at a post-secondary institution (university/college) and must be returning to school after completion of their work term with QuadReal.  If you are a student registered in an official co-op program at your post-secondary institution and completion of a final work term is a mandatory component for you to graduate, you are eligible to apply with the understanding that you will leave QuadReal at the end of your work term or have the possibility to be considered for full-time opportunities.

We are actively looking for a Summer Analyst, U.S. Real Estate Debt, to join the team in Summer 2026. This role is based in Los Angeles and will report directly to the Associate, U.S. Debt Investments. The Summer Analyst will assist with the analysis and underwriting of new investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and monitoring existing portfolio investments. The Summer Analyst plays an important role in supporting the execution of the growth strategy for QuadReal’s U.S. debt platform.

What You Will Experience:

  • Assist in the analysis, underwriting, structuring, and preparation of investment memorandums for investment opportunities including new investments, extensions, and amendments.

  • Conduct thorough due diligence of investment documents, third-party reports, and market data to support new loan origination.

  • Conduct market research leveraging external databases, discussions with market participants, and internal research tools to support investment opportunities across multiple markets and asset classes.

  • Create and maintain detailed cashflow and valuation models for new investment opportunities.

  • Support the Investment Team in the monitoring of existing investments.

  • Actively adhere to compliance and risk management policies.

What You Will Bring:

  • Education Completing a university degree with a major in Real Estate, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.

  • Analytical – Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.

  • Communication Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.

  • Organization – Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and change.  Comfortable following direction but also contributing to the direction.

  • Software Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Argus Enterprise a plus.

  • Relationship – Must be extremely proactive and work well in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance but then move projects forward independently. 

  • Values – Embrace and pro-actively support QuadReal’s values and its culture of environmental sustainability and corporate and social responsibility.

  • Experience – Previous experience working with a real estate company (asset manager or developer), real estate brokerage or advisory firm, appraisal firm, or real estate lender is desirable. A strong interest in developing a career within real estate is essential.
