Dow Jones is a division of News Corp (Nasdaq: NWS, NWSA; ASX: NWS, NWSLV). About the Role: MarketWatch is seeking a reporting intern to join MarketWatch’s New York City newsroom in summer 2026. This internship offers the opportunity to help cover the most important economic, investing and market-moving news each day. Interns will work closely with editors and reporters throughout the newsroom, providing coverage across the markets, economics and personal finance teams. You’ll report to Assistant Managing Editor, Nicole Pesce, based in New York. This role is hybrid, with work based in our Midtown Manhattan office. You Will: Monitor the most important news moments of the day and help spot the money and investing angles that everyone else is missing. Report and write timely and impactful articles of varying lengths on economic and financial news topics. Cover breaking developments such as market reactions to economic data, policy changes or corporate news, and unpack these events for our audience. Contribute research and reporting for longer enterprise journalism stories off the news. You Have: Completed at least two years of undergraduate study. (Journalism, communications, economics or related fields preferred.)
