#LI-TA21Position Overview
The Health Equity Impact Intern will support the Health Equity and Access team at Exact Sciences in evaluating and enhancing the impact of field-based health equity initiatives. This role will focus on leveraging enterprise CRM tools and field-reported data to assess engagement, outreach, and intervention support activities. The intern will also contribute to the development of a strategic dashboard and help identify priority markets for health equity efforts using social determinants of health (SDOH), demographic and other data.
This position is field based / remote.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Analyze health equity field team engagement data to demonstrate qualitative and quantitative results and impact.
- Assisting current projects supported by health equity leads for health care systems, providers and communities and patients
- Assist in building a dashboard that visualizes quantitative and qualitative milestones in account management.
- Make recommendations that improve data collection and insights
- Support the development of metrics and reporting tools using enterprise CRM platforms.
- Integrate SDOH, demographic, and field engagement data to identify strategic geographic areas of focus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align evaluation efforts with broader health equity goals.
- Complete assigned projects and deliver presentations and reports that communicate findings and recommendations.

- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 100% of a typical working day.
- Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
- Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
- Ability to work seated or standing for approximately 100% of a typical working day.
- Ability and means to travel as needed to corporate headquarters for presentations and meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required: Currently pursuing a master’s of doctoral degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Data Science, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience or coursework in health equity, social determinants of health, or community health preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large datasets
- Proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote
- Experience with CRM/Salesforce platform, a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Salary Range:
