The Role

Join SGNL's Product Training team as an intern and help shape the future of identity and access management education. You'll work alongside our training experts to develop, deliver, and optimize our live, instructor-led training programs that serve enterprise customers worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical training, customer education, and enterprise software while contributing to programs that transform how organizations manage access control.

As a Product Training Intern, you'll support our monthly live training sessions, help develop training materials, and gain experience with cutting-edge identity architecture and zero-trust security concepts.

What You'll Do

Training Program Support

  • Assist with monthly live training sessions for enterprise customers
  • Help manage sandbox environments and lab configurations for hands-on exercises
  • Support instructors during training delivery and provide technical assistance to participants
  • Collect and analyze training feedback to improve course effectiveness

Content Development

  • Research and develop training materials, documentation, and lab exercises
  • Create visual aids, diagrams, and interactive content for complex technical concepts
  • Help maintain and update training curriculum based on product updates and customer feedback
  • Assist in developing new training modules for emerging SGNL features

Customer Experience

  • Support pre-training communications and logistics coordination
  • Help participants troubleshoot technical issues during sandbox exercises
  • Contribute to post-training follow-up and certification processes
  • Gather insights on customer learning patterns and training effectiveness

Learning & Development

  • Participate in SGNL product training and earn official certification
  • Learn about modern identity architecture, zero-trust security, and access management
  • Understand enterprise customer needs and technical requirements
  • Gain experience with systems of record integration and policy management

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a Bachelor's or Master's program in:
    • Computer Science or related degree
    • Identity and Access Management
    • Technical Training or Education
  • Strong academic performance with interest in enterprise security and identity management
  • Prior internship or project experience in technology, training, or technical consulting a plus
  • Previous teaching assistant experience a plus

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of identity and access management concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and enterprise software
  • Basic scripting skills with Python and familiarity with Terraform
  • Highly proficient in technical documentation and developing detailed slide presentations
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and zero-trust architecture is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Collaborative team player with ability to work independently
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Customer-service oriented mindset with patience and empathy

  • Enterprise Training Delivery: Develop skills in technical instruction and customer education
  • Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of SGNL's platform and enterprise identity management

Privileged Access Management: Manage real-time session access and implement zero standing privilege (ZSP)Dynamic Policy Design: Write human-readable, attribute-based policies and safely test them using impact analysis tools

  • Modern Identity Architecture: Learn to integrate multiple systems within SGNL’s centralized identity management framework
