We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking two interns for the Learning & Development (L&D) team. In this role, you'll help support Learning Programs, Content Management strategies, and Multimedia Content & Experiences. You will also have the opportunity to learn and leverage AI tools to support the development of scalable, intelligent training solutions and workflow automation within the department. What you'll do:
As a Learning & Development Intern or Technical Learning & Development Intern, you'll support our L&D team by helping to coordinate and plan internal programs like lunch & learns and in-person events. You'll also work on multimedia content management projects, including auditing and updating content. If you are a Technical Learning & Development Intern, a key part of your role will also be to create SOPs for workflow automation. You'll also have a chance to leverage your knowledge of basic tech terminology and coding languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You'll collaborate with the Learning & Multimedia department and other teams across Geotab to create engaging internal and external content experiences.
The opportunity:
- 8-12 month work-term beginning January 2026.
- Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact:
- Learning Program Enhancement: Contribute to the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of internal learning programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and enhanced learner engagement.
- Content Management Strategies: Assist in formulating and executing content management strategies, ensuring streamlined processes, optimized storage, and easy retrieval of multimedia assets.
- Multimedia support: Play an integral role in conceptualizing, creating, and refining multimedia content such as videos, trainings, and eLearning modules, to provide immersive learning experiences for users.
- Change Management Contribution: Support change management initiatives by providing insights, multimedia tools, and strategies that aid in smoother transitions, ensuring employees are well-informed, prepared, and adaptive to new changes.
- Organizational Solutioning: Collaborate with various departments to design and implement solutions that address organizational challenges, leveraging multimedia and learning principles to enhance operational efficiency.
- Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Regularly gather feedback on multimedia content and learning programs, using insights to drive iterative improvements and ensure deliverables meet evolving needs of the organization.
What you'll bring to the role:
Learning & Development Intern
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant coursework or certifications in multimedia tools, e-learning platforms, or content creation.
- Passion for creating impactful and engaging multimedia content.
- Basic knowledge of instructional design principles and e-learning development tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Proficiency in multimedia tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.), or equivalent.
Technical Learning & Development Intern
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Adult Learning, Multimedia Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in multimedia tools like Canva, Google Workspace, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of instructional design principles and e-learning development tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Experience with data analytics tools like Excel, Google Spreadsheet, PowerBI to measure content engagement and effectiveness.
- Basic understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles for digital content.
- Knowledge on basic tech terminology and coding languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a bonus.
