An internship with one of Point72’s Operations functions/teams provides a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you can develop technical, analytical, and communication skills while building a foundation for a long-term career in the financial industry. Across various teams, you will have opportunities to gain exposure to:

• Supporting the firm’s daily trading activities across global markets, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange, and futures
• Leading and participating in cross-functional projects to support strategic initiatives
• Documenting and mitigating operational risks while managing vendor relationships and due diligence processes
• Preparing and overseeing regulatory filings and implementing automation tools to enhance efficiency

The Operations Internship at Point72 provides individuals with a hands-on experience in a variety of operational functions that are essential to the success of a global investment firm. During the program, you will experience firsthand:

Summer Internship Program at Point72

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:

• Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals
• Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events
• Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths
• Get hands-on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use every day
• Interact with groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry
• Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
• Participate in networking opportunities across the firm

What’s Required

• Expected bachelor’s degree (Fall 2026 or Spring 2027)
• Basic knowledge of markets and financial products
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to technologies such as SQL, Alteryx, or Tableau
• Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team
• Willingness to conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary is $75,000 (USD) which will be prorated based on internship start and end date; this does not include overtime compensation. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
