What You’ll Be Doing 

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Digital Operations, the Systems & Process Analyst Co-op is responsible for providing efficient operational support while maintaining compliance with internal controls and procedures within the functional area. The role applies technical and process knowledge to act as a point of contact for various stakeholders in the Bank. The Analyst exercises independent judgement in determining feasible solutions for stakeholders and technical partners. The role provides crucial support in the implementation of process improvement initiatives, seeking opportunities to streamline existing processes and procedures. You will work with little direction in a fast-paced environment with Product Owners, Consultants and Leadership to deliver process workflow updates to internal CIBC web properties.

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

  • Process documentation: Proficiency in documentation for this role involves ensuring accuracy and completeness, writing clearly and simply, and structuring documents logically. The candidate must maintain a consistent style and tone, create technical documents like manuals and specifications, and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.  

  • Communication and teamwork: Strong communication skills with stakeholders are essential for success. These skills encompass the ability to clearly convey information, actively listen, and engage in meaningful dialogue. The candidate will also need to navigate conflicts and find mutually agreeable solutions.  

  • Planning and coordination: Interact with team members and stakeholders to encourage engagement and connection. You prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks concurrently with strong organization skills.

  • Data analysis: Analyze data/situations fully and accurately to guide or reach productive decisions.

  • Deliver with speed: You make sure we’re delivering on time, within scope and budget, and are future-proofed. You can manage multiple priorities at the same time and iterate effectively.
