About the Role & Program
As part of the DX Global PR team, the Intern for the Media & Influencer Communications team supports the execution of day-to-day media and influencer initiatives on behalf of Disney Experiences. This role joins a specialized bi-coastal team that works closely with partners across the segment to elevate stories among key press contacts and content creators.
The intern will report to the Senior Manager, Public Relations
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from January 2026 through June 2026
What You Will Do
- Identify and assess media and influencers for projects, including supporting outreach, the invitation process, and serving as a resource for content development.
- Assist with in-person media/influencer events and/or productions; collaborate with the Special Events team to coordinate necessary logistics and travel plans.
- Curate itineraries for individual media/influencer visits based on content focus.
- Research and contribute to the team’s network of media, bloggers/vloggers, podcasters, and creators.
- Draft media pitches, Disney Parks blog stories, and social copy as needed.
- Process inbound press and influencer ticket requests.
- Track coverage and develop campaign/project reports; analyze metrics to provide valuable insights.
- Stay apprised of emerging social media features/platforms, competitive landscape, and influencer industry trends.

- A relevant experience in communications/public relations and/or influencer marketing.
Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Social Media, Marketing, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 through June 2026
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
