Strategy and Sales Enablement Business Analyst Co-Op
This a great opportunity to gain experience in project management, data analytics, data governance, and learn about the various responsibilities of client-facing teams at State Street. This position will support and interact with the global Sales and Relationship Management teams that are responsible for keeping clients engaged and satisfied with State Street, revenue retention and revenue growth. Our department offers the unique blend of a boutique sized, high energy team within a large, global, financial services industry leader. As the Project & Business Analyst Co-op, you will be part of Sales Enablement & Infrastructure team, which supports the client-facing teams through various projects, reporting and analytics. This Co-op role will be heavily involved in managing communications to the client-facing team, organizing initiatives across various teams, developing a robust infrastructure of client coverage reporting and standardizing the approach to managing initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
· Partner with relationship management and client service teams to assist with the development and maintenance of client / sub segment analysis to execute growth plan for review by executive leadership.
· Contribute to Business Strategy (segment/regional/client) – Build business and market context, client and market size, share of wallet, growth trend analysis.
· Leverage Internal and external data sources to conduct business analysis to support executives’ decision making.
· Effective tracking Business Performance Metrics and OKRs platform upload (workboard), distribute performance report by business units within Investment Services
· Analyze and load data to our systems in an accurate and time efficient way- Maintain and update database and dashboard
· Manage various project tasks simultaneously and report on the status of each project task as needed. Projects can be global in scope and may involve technology/demos, presentation materials, marketing, risk and compliance initiatives, and internal and external events.
· Work with management team to perform research projects, source and analyze data.
· Use PowerBI to enhance data analysis capabilities, working with and joining large sets of data from various systems to create consolidated databases
· Ability to prepare impactful, best-in-class client ready PPT/deliverables
· Partner with relationship management teams to assist with the development and maintenance of client account plans for review by executive leadership.
· Leverage Salesforce 360 to conduct business analysis and maintain data governance including client coverage contacts
Required Skills or Certifications
· Ability to take ownership of and monitor various assigned projects.
· Flexibility to manage multiple projects and meet individual deadlines while accommodating shifting priorities.
· Excellent time management and tracking methodology to keep on top of all requested and/or recurring tasks.
· Be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as part of a team to optimize results.
· Interest in learning about the various processes and workflows at State Street.
· Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other relational databases; Ability to create reports and dashboards will be helpful.
· Ability to analyze and manage large data sets.
· Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, graphs and data visualization) and familiarity with PowerPoint and Word.
· Willingness to learn new technologies and systems for project work.
Salary Range:
$41,600 - $65,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
