Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1. Assists the department he or she is assigned to with technical issues. Works on tasks as assigned by leadership.
2. Assists their team in streamlining business processes using new or current technology.
3. Documents business processes, reviews inefficiencies, and makes recommendations for improvement to supervisor.
4. Learns University systems and data sets in order to accurately extract information from those systems.
Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies
Must have experience using MS Excel and/or Access. Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
